AUTHORS:

As far back as I can remember, I have been writing poems, articles, and stories of all types.  In 1995 after our son was born, I began focusing on children's stories and joined SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators) as an associate member.

Regardless what your business is, you need a website. Authors are no different. You are your business which means you need a website to promote and sell your book(s). It is a necessity if you are serious about being a successful author.

If you have already had a book published but it has not hit the best-seller list yet, you know you have a lot of marketing to do yourself.  What better way to promote your work than with a website? It also gives you a way to connect with the media and sell autographed copies.

Even if you are still working on your first book, it is not too early to establish your presence on the web. Marketing should start long before your manuscript is even complete.

If you have been wanting your own web site but were either too busy or not sure how to start, I have the solution.  Any SCBWI member who uses my design services will receive a 15% discount off the final invoice amount.  My regular design fees are already less than many other design companies so you will realize tremendous savings.

With your permission, I will put a link to your web site on my Client List page.  Also, as an SCBWI full member, you can have your web site listed on the SCBWI website
in the Member Web Page section.  Remember, the more links you have to and from related websites, the more exposure your site will generate.

If you are an author interested in self-publishing, visit www.onedotseminars.com.
